ALLIED is proud to be one of the original founders of the Responsible Down Standard (RDS)- the world’s most important seal of approval for ethically sourced down and feather.
The Responsible Down Standard (RDS) aims to ensure that down and feathers come from animals that have not been subjected to any unnecessary harm. It is our hope that the standard can be used to reward and influence the down and feather industry to incentivize practices that respect the humane treatment of ducks and geese. We believe that education – through the RDS – is a meaningful way to drive demand for strong animal welfare practices.
We believe so strongly in RDS and its goal to ensure a more ethical supply chain, that we gifted this certification to the Textile Exchange for all in the industry to use.
We are proud to say that today, RDS is the gold standard for responsibly sourced down across both the apparel and home industries.
TRACK MY DOWN
Track my Down is a revolutionary and exclusive traceability tool created by ALLIED that takes transparency to the next level.
The Track My Down website gives consumers exclusive access to information about the exact down in their product including its cleanliness, country of origin and quality in addition to corresponding lab testing reports.

RENU BEDDING
After extensive research and testing, Allied has launched an industry first; a fully operational, closed loop, recycled program: Renu ™ Bedding.
Through a proprietary process and customized equipment, Allied Home is able to collect post-consumer bedding products, removing the natural fill inside, and carefully grading it for quality, and color. From there, the sorted fill is sent through Allied’s industry leading Hypowash® process for sterilization, which is also fully environmentally friendly. Since down clusters and feathers retain their efficacy years after use, and Allied Home’s proprietary separation process removes additional broken feathers and debris, Renu™ Bedding yields the highest performing, highest loft recycled natural fill on the Market.
ULTRAWHT EQUIPMENT
As a natural material, even the whitest down in the world can contain dark spots, until now.
ALLIED has worked with innovative machinists to develop a computerized sorting process that mechanically separates down cluster by cluster, picking out any dark spots. What is left is a pure white down with virtually no dark spots. Our UltraWHT machine is the only one of its kind in the United States.

SLCP – The Social & Labor Convergence Program
The Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) is a multi-stakeholder initiative designed to create a unified framework for assessing working conditions in supply chains. By eliminating audit fatigue and fostering collaboration, SLCP helps companies improve labor standards efficiently and transparently.
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP or cGMP)
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP or cGMP) are a set of regulations ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. GMP compliance guarantees safety, purity, and efficacy across manufacturing processes, particularly in pharmaceuticals, food, and personal care industries.

The Responsible Down Standard is the industry’s largest traceability and animal welfare that ensures responsible sourcing through the entire chain of custody. RDS down is certified through the Control Union - a premier third party certification body.

AAFA®
AAFA® is dedicated to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease for people with asthma and allergies through support, advocacy, education and research. Products certified under the Asthma and Allergy Friendly Association meet strict standards to be labeled as safe for asthma and allergy sufferers.
Global Recycle Standard
Global Recycle Standard is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions.
Environmental Protection Agency
The mission of the Environmental Protection Agency is to protect human health and the environment. We ensure that our products and treatments have EPA registration to substantiate all applicable claims like antimicrobial.
Downpass Down & Feathers
Products labeled with the DOWNPASS guarantee high quality and the certainty that down and feathers used as filling material are ethically sourced and come from tightly controlled and traceable supply chains. In addition, the quality of all products is monitored by independent testing institutes.
